Being Imprisoned
When I saw picture, the first thing that I noticed was the little child sitting on the bed. The way that he is sitting makes it look like he is imprisoned in his own house. During the depression many people were probably feeling this way because they didn't have money to do allot of things that they used to. They had to give up allot of things like their land, and their crops that they have spent almost all of their lives working on. Recently we all (almost all) went through our own "mini depression" during the ice storm. We didn't have power or anything to do. During that week we spent the majority of the time with our families and if we didn't have heat or a heat source we went to other peoples houses seeking shelter from the brutal cold. During the storms we learned about what it was like in the older days. Many of us struggled in the storm with sickness and having to spend too much time with siblings and parents. Back in the days during the depression they had to deal with people getting sick everyday. It became sort of a problem for the people, they had to suffer through so much because of what happened to the stock market crash. But back to the topic of being imprisoned. During the ice storm we all felt a little imprisoned. We even feel that way when there isn't even a disaster. What makes you feel imprisoned? What keeps you from feeling that way? Do you advice for people who do feel imprisoned? If so let us know. Thanks.
