Hey everyone!!! Well while we were doing our assignment today I came across this photo. It's kind of depressing seeing the people in this photo. I can't help but wonder what it is like to live through what they are living through. They look as though they are on a farm and from studying about the time period of the depression I learned that farmers had it worst. I can't help but feel sorry for them.
I have also been reading more of Dark Angel. It's starting to get interesting and I really like it. I would highly recommend the book to anybody.
p.s. I couldn't get the photo to upload so here is the link. http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/I?fsaall:99:./temp/~ammem_r7CP::displayType=1:m856sd=fsa:m856sf=8a44523:@@@

Yeah, I've just moved to percussion from flute (which is increadible. I did not enjoy flute at all). I spend more time with mallets, but because of a shortage of battery girls, I've been given a crash course in drumset and marching drums. I'm not as good as a lot of people are, but I catch on quickly. I like set, but I have much more fun with the marching and concert snare.
I thought the same thing about my photo. I honestly couldn't figure out how life could be that difficult, yet people survived. It makes me feel spoiled. nice post.
