It is hard to think of what life was like back in the era of the depression. By looking at these pictures, at this site that we went to, i got a better idea of how to picture the charactures and scenes in the book. I always picture the people in books whyle i read and i picture their actions and things that they do. Like when Jem ran up and slapped the Radley house because of a dare, i can see a young , skinnny boy scrembling up to an old, rusty, moldy house that creaked and shivvered in the breeze. I see him slapping the house and making a mad dash to get back across the street. Does anyone elce see things so elaboratly? or is it just me?

I see pictures in my mind of......

I see pictures in my mind, only my mind translate what I'm reading literraly. For instance, if a book says there was love pouring out from her, I picture a girl standing in pitch black, (but her aluminated) with color seeping out from her. I sometimes picture exactly what the book is sayibng, but usually I translate literally in terms of picturing things.
