I know this is kinda a late post but I sleep late. Well, I hope everyone is getting a good night rest since we have daylight savings today! On the survey we took we had one question that asked "Should People Take Action if the Law Doesn't?" I think people should be allowed to at a certain extent. If someone gets away when they are charged innocent then more crimes will be committed. If someone were to kill your entire family I think you would have a urge of revenge and take action. I think this act is perfectly fine as long as if you have a good reason to take up on this act. How do people think about this question on the survey? Opinions are more than welcome. :D

I agree with you! What kind of action would you take if someone killed a person in your family? Would you go after them? I don't think I would be able to because I know I would probably end up in jail just like they would. Don't you think it would be better to just let the law handle it? Or do you think it would be more effective if you took the matter in your own hands?
I definetly agree with the person who posted. I think if someone killed my entire family and got away with it, I know that i would want some revenge and eventually I would get it. It's not fair that they get to live when they did killed people and your family did nothing but they ended up dead. I would probably kill the person or try to find evidence to prove that they were guilty. I'd probably get a little bit stalker-ish just so i could get some revenge. To the commenter I think that most time the law does a pretty good job, and it's not our job to do, but maybe sometimes it would be more effective to take the law into your own hands. However, you would have to take responsibility for your actions, which would probably leave you ended up in jail. But if your whole family was killed and you got the person back who did it, then you might think that it was worth it.
I guess I should change my mind then. lol. Well I know revenge isn't a good thing but people should be able to do something about the situation to a certain extent.
If we had everyone taking the law into their own hands, just think of the kind of world that we would be living in today. It would be more dangerous if everyone did that rather than to just have the law settle it. The law usually does a pretty good job of accusing the right person. I personally do not believe in killing someone if they killed your spouse. Just think,they have to live with killing someone for the rest of their life. That would make a person fell really bad. I know it would make me feel bad, not that I would kill anyone to begin with...
