Smiles in the Storm

This picture took me by surprise. The foremost girl really caught my attention. Yes she's smiling, but her eyes look almost distant and pained. When I 1st looked at the picture, she was the one I saw first. She, to me, looks almost like she's seeing things that no one else is. Or like she's remembering something that the others have forgotten. I wish I could find out more about that little girl. If I could interview, I'd ask her about her story. I have to wonder if she ever looked back on that life after that, ya know? I also have to wonder why she stood out to me like she did. If anyone else agrees with even one thing, please let me know, so I don't think I 'm crazy.

Ok, well, every time I've tried to get it to download, it doesn't work. This time it said it couldn't download. So, if you can copy and paste the url into the bar at the top, you can see, otherwise, I'll play with it.

Oh yay, the picture's up! :]

That's horrible that kids are getting guns in Iraq. I don't know though. I can almost see the parent's motives. I would never want my kids to get hurt, so giving them a gun in the parent's minds might keep their kids safe. Then again, if these soldiers are having to shoot the kids with the guns . . .it's just one horrid cycle.

I know, and giving the kids guns so they can get shot because soldiers are threatned just seems retarded. If parents would keep their kids indoors, gun free, they'd be alive. I don't think I could EVER shoot a kid, even if they were holding a kid to my head, at a cliff and I had to shoot them, jump, or get blown to smitherines.
