I don't know about you guys but I'm not really understanding this book so far. I dont think the titile fits with the book at all. Hopefully we will find out later... just keep reading! Also I think that there are too many difficult words to read. It seems like I'm looking up every other word in the dictionary.haha I am not saying that I think this is a bad book or that I don't want to read it because in the end I think it will get easier to read and I will like it. After all it didn't become an American Classic for nothing. The interactions with Ms. Caroline and Scout is what is keeping me entertained when I read it. Well thats all for now, happy blogging!!!

I agree 100%. A lot of these words I have like no idea what any of them mean. It kinda ruins the story when you have no idea what the author is trying to get you to understand.
If you keep reading the book, in one of the chapters...Jem does something and Atticus tells him that something about a mockingbird...you'll just have to read it to find out what the title is really for.
