Done With Part One
So now in class we are done with part one of To Kill A Mockingbird. A ton of different characters have been introduced and there are just too many to list. I have liked the reading so far even though it did take quite a while to get a feel for the type of book. I would not choose this book to read on my own, but I bet there are worse books we could be forced to read for this class. I predict that in Section Two there will be a lot of controversy over the trial for Tom Robinson. I hope that Scout and Jem will not crack under the scrutiny of their classmates and that Tom gets a fair trial. This most likely won't happen though because he is a black man in the South so there would be racial prejudice against an all-white jury. Happy Reading!

I agree with youi. The book was really hard to get into at first even though I had an open mind about it. I am really looking forward to reading the second part to see what happens to Tom. Hope it all turns out good!!:)
