Well my last post was about Dill, so I decided to stay on that topic. As you know, well you might know, Ms. James told us about Harper Lee and how she based Dill's character on Truman Capote, so I decided to do a little research on him. When he was a child, Capote was abandoned by his mother and his aunts raised him in Monroeville Alabama. He started being serious about writing at age eleven. He has written a lot of things, his career started with a job at The New Yorker magazine. His first book was Other Voices, Other Rooms. Since then he has written Breakfast at Tiffany's, In Cold Blood, Answered Prayers, and others. Here's a link if you want more information on him. http://www.capotebio.com/
