The Kite Runner cont.
I am almost to the end of the book The Kite Runner. This is my second post about the book and in the first post i kept saying how good the book was and how i couldn't put it down. Well the book just keeps on getting better andIi keep finding myself more and more engrossed. The book keeps on taking these twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat. At first i wasn't really sure what the book was about but now i think that I've figured it out. Its about this guy who grew up in Afghanistan, during the good years, and makes one big mistake that haunts him for the rest of his life. When Russia invades Afghanistan he is forced to move out of the country with his dad. They decide to move to America while they leave their loyal, faithful servants behind, one of which is the kite runner. For his dad the move was bad and he is forced to leave his home, friends and all of the good memories. For the main character America is a new beginning and a way to forget his regrettable past. But his past keeps on haunting him and wont go away. He is then given a chance to redeem himself. But nothing in this book is without risk. For him to redeem himself he will have to put his life on the line. Risking everything, his successful career as an aspiring author, his beautiful wife and all of his new friends. Will he do it? That is the part I am on now so I'll keep informed.
