The Capulets' Rash Decision

Ms. James told us that Lord Capulet was a very modern father to not force Juliet to marry Paris. He also told Paris to wait a couple of years. But now after Tybalt's death he is arranging their marriage. Why do you think Paris came back at this time instead of waiting like Lord Capulet told him to? He came back because this is during a stressful time and rash decisions are usually made under stress. But what I don't understand is why Lord Capulet totally changed his mind. Was it because of the stress or was Lady Capulet pressuring him. Throughout the play Lady Capulet seems like she is all for the marriage. Which makes sense because she was probably put into an arranged marriage too, seeing that she and Lord Capulet's ages are far apart. This might also be why Lord Capulet did what she wanted, to please his wife. The relationship of the parents and the timing all help Paris with his plans. What do you think?
