I just finished the book, Crank by Ellen Hopkins. I really enjoyed this book. It' about a girl named Kristina who goes visit her father in So. Cal. who has been out of her life for the past eight years. When she visits her trashy patriarch, she meets a guy named Adam. Adam and her have a strong attraction toward each other. Then, Adam shows her the wonders of crank or meth. She becomes addicted and changes who she really is. She starts going by the name of Bree. When she is Bree, she is not the perfect child she used to be. Bree is fearless and will try anything that somebody puts in front of her. When she comes back from visiting her dad, she becomes involved in things that make her feel terrible and her home life with her family even worse. This book is really good. I would say that it is generally a girl book, but guys would be fine reading it as well.

I loved this book. I thought it was so cool that it's all written in free verse poems. I'm going to go check out other books by here, but I really enjoyed this one. :]
I am glad you blogged about this book. I have seen many people reading it lately and have wondered what it was about. It sounds pretty good. I might read it.
Does she get unaddicted to crank? Because I don't really want to read it if she doesn't!
It's hard to explain, but she kinda sorta got unaddicted but is still kinda sorta addicted.
