So I finished Among the bears and it ended up being pretty sad. A lot of the bears died due to human interferences and they shot and killed a couple of the bears, however a couple of the females did end up producing a couple of cubs. It was kinda cool because the cubs of one bear and the cubs of her sister bear were friends, so the cousins knew eachother. I didn't think that would ever happen in bears, but I guess it does. Benjamin Kilham, the author, has finished raising cubs, but he is still researching and gathering information on black bears.
