In The Night

Marching throught the night one by one

Their breath is thick

& the cold mangles their fingers

They will always dream of tomorrow,

Of all the hearts they use to love

Never knowing the end to this madness

They march as if in a trance

Asking for help,

Help out.

Although never to disgrace those proud hearts at home,

Never to say a word,

Things pile up,

Never to escape

As they march.

That was a BEAUTIFUL poem, I was looking to see who the author was, because I didn't think someone could right that, but since you did, WOW, good job!
