During last night's reading of To Kill A Mockingbird Atticus went down to the jailhouse to keep Tom Robinson company for the night. Scout, Jem and Dilll all snuck out of their houses and went to go find Atticus becuase they were curious of his whereabouts. Whenever they got to the jail they were surprised to find Atticus surrounded by an angry looking mob. Scout ran into the middle of the circle and started speaking with Mr. Cunningham. I know she said to say hello to his son and then about something else, but how could a little girl speaking to a bunch of grown men change their opirion? Please respond.

Mob From Last Night
