Cruising Together

The waves rock the boat back and forth,

The halls are filled with hungry chatter,

My dad stands ready with his camera, like a tiger ready to pounce on its prey,

He waits to capture the perfect moment and imprint it in history,

Memories fill my mind of previous adventures,

While my stomach grumbles ready to eat,

As my dad saps a picture, I manage a slight grin,

As I anxiously await the meal ahead,

My suit on with my tie tied tight,

Waiting for the meal that awaits me tonight,

All the arguements put behind us,

For this one moment we will remember forever.
