The Expression of Emotion in Man and Animals

Recently i have finished the book velocity. It was an awesome book, grusome at times but still good. In Biology Honors i dont exactly have a very good grade. So for extra credit he gave the choice of reading a book of science and then writning a book report about it. So i choose the book The expression og Emotion in man and animals. This book may sound really boring and full of nothing but information. And it is. As you can probaly tell from the picture it is very boring. But surprisingly i have kind of gotten into the book.I actually sort of like it. Its by charles darwin who lived like 100 years ago and the writing is a little bit old fashioned. One problem i have with the book is that i find my mind wandering off and then i look back at what i just read and i have no cluewhat it was that i just read. So i dont think that i would recomen ths book unless you have a burning desire to learn about boring stuff.

How cool that your science teacher has you reading independently. Did you have other choices? Next time you get to choose (if you get to choose a title) bring them to English and we'll take a look and preview them. If Darwin's tough to read (and I'll bet it is challenging), let's look it over and let us see what the other choices are, too!
