Books are Talking to Me

Currently, I am reading The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. This book is pretty interesting. It's about Holden Caulfield and what he does after he gets kicked out of Pencey Prep School. He leaves early from school and goes to stay in New York. Holden is generally annoyed with phonies and it's really easy to relate to him. What I like about the book is that Holden is talking to you. It's like you are sitting at a kitchen table with him with cups of whatever you're drinking, and just talking. He tells you what's going on and the writing style of the book is superb. I'm only in the middle of the book so nothing terribly exciting has happened yet. But from what I have read, I totally recommend this book.

I read in the Note To Reader that he did make up some of the events...which really sucks, cause it was an awesome book. But over all it is true story just some of the events weren't true.
