A Farewell to Arms
A Farewell to Arms is a story of love set during the time of the first World War. The story circulates around the relationship between a volunteer ambulance driver from the US, Frederic Henry, and a British nurse, Catherine Barkley. They quickly fall in love and will even pull a few strings to be together. The novel flows very smoothly and is not just a sappy love story. In other words, it can be a book for both guys and girls. The book is losely based around author, Ernest Hemingway's experience in WWI, being an American ambulance driver that fell in love with a nurse. There really isn't much to say about the story other than that the book is very well written, it is recommended by colleges and me,and it has an unexpected surprise ending.

This sounds like a great book. I like romantic stories that aren't over the top. And I love surprising endings so I will probably end up reading it.
