Modern Romeo and Juliet

I really like the modern Romeo and Juliet movie. The old one was alright because that is more what Shakespeare was talking about when he wrote it, but the new movie is much more like today. The Capulets and Montagues now-a-days are more like opposing company bosses, and their children and servants are more like mafia street thugs or gangsters. They both want to have complete power over the city and want the other to be demolished. If the police or law force didn't step in then there would be a lot of fights and bloodshed just like in the movies. Hopefully we get to see more in class on Monday!

I didn't really like the modern version becuase it didn't flow very well. Mixing old english with modern doesn't work for me.
